An Advocate for the Environment, Consumers, and Injured Individuals
Nimish is a partner in our San Francisco office. He is currently involved in litigation against the Tennessee Valley Authority for a disastrous coal ash spill in Kingston, Tennessee, a whistleblower lawsuit against a company that sold the military allegedly defective flares, and litigation against Toyota for sudden accelearation problems in its vehicles.
Nimish is frequently involved in evaluating toxic exposure and other environmental investigations for Lieff Cabraser because of his excellent science background. In addition to his degree from the University of California, Berkeley, Boalt Hall School of Law, Nimish earned a B.S. with high honors in Chemical Engineering from the University of Texas, Austin and has worked previously for the Sierra Club Environmental Law Program, Public Citizen, and the Center for Energy and Environmental Resources.
Nimish has published several articles, including “American Chemistry Council v. Johnson: Community Right to Know, But About What?” Ecology Law Quarterly, Winter 2006, and “Analysis of Motor Vehicle Emissions in a Houston Tunnel during Texas Air Quality Study 2000,” Atmospheric Environment, 38, 3363-3372 (2004).
Nimish speaks conversational Gujarti and is a member of the State Bar of California, Bar Association of San Francisco, Consumer Attorneys of California, American Bar Association, American Constitution Society, and the South Asian Bar Association.
