A Skilled Lawyer for the Injured

Kent is an experienced and accomplished trial attorney. His representation of a medical malpractice victim with life-altering injuries resulted in a seven-figure settlement with the defendant physicians and hospital in 2008, and he continues to represent plaintiffs in medical negligence cases involving catastrophic injury and wrongful death.  Among his other notable cases, Kent has sought to obtain justice for patients who used contact lens solution products from Advanced Medical Optics, Inc. and Bausch & Lomb, Inc. Kent's clients have suffered severe eye infections and often permanent blindness as a result of using these products. The Bausch & Lomb cases resulted in settlements in 2008.

Kent also represents patients in serious injury and wrongful death cases against Medtronic, Inc. involving spinal surgery devices that were improperly marketed for dangerous off-label uses in the spine. On behalf of injured women, Kent is prosecuting claims of severe side effects (such as DVT and pulmonary emboli) from the prescription birth control drugs Yaz and Yasmin, manufactured and marketed by Bayer.

In early 2010, Kent was named to the Plaintiffs' Steering Committee in the Zicam MDL (multi-district litigation) pending in federal court in Arizona, a coordinated mass tort action in which he represents individuals who have permanently lost their sense of smell as a result of using a defective and dangerous intranasal cold remedy product which was recalled by the FDA in 2009.  He is also actively involved with the federal court Zimmer Durom Cup MDL in New Jersey, in which he represents consumers who have suffered painful and debilitating hip injuries caused by Zimmer's defective Durom Cup product.
