Upholding the Rights of Employees
Heather is a partner in our San Francisco office with a focus on cases involving violations of consumer protection and employment laws, including the firm’s resolved case against Smith Barney for gender discrimination which resulted in a $33 million settlement for the 2,411 members of the Settlement Class.
Heather has been recognized by Super Lawyers as a "Rising Star for Northern California" and is an active member of several bar associations and other legal groups. Heather is also a frequent presenter at various employment and bar association conferences nationwide.
Since 2007, Heather has also served as a member of the Steering Committee for a volunteer organization called Carver Healthy Environments and Response to Trauma in Schools ("HEARTS") Project, which seeks to serve the underprivileged students at George Washington Carver Elementary School in the Bayview neighborhood of San Francisco.
