In re Ocwen Federal Bank FSB Mortgage Servicing Litigation

Lieff Cabraser serves as Co-Lead Plaintiffs’ Counsel in a nationwide class action against Ocwen Financial Corporation, Ocwen Federal Bank FSB, and their affiliates (“Ocwen”). This lawsuit arises out of charges against Ocwen of misconduct in servicing its customers’ mortgage loans and in its provision of certain related services, including debt collection and foreclosure services.

On January 10, 2011, the Court granted preliminary approval of a nationwide settlement that provides monetary relief, cash-equivalent benefits, and injunctive relief. The Hon. Judge Norgle issued an order granting final approval of the settlement on July 1, 2011. The order becomes final in 30 days if there are no appeals.
