On December 16, 2019, Lieff Cabraser and co-counsel filed a federal class action sexual assault lawsuit in Denver against Frontier Inc. alleging the airline failed to have and follow policies to prevent, report, and respond to sexual assaults of passengers on its flights. Filed on behalf of plaintiffs Lena Ramsay, Jane Doe, and all others similarly situated, the complaint alleges that Frontier violated its duty of care by failing to implement and enforce appropriate policies and procedures to prevent, or properly respond to, sexual assaults that occur on its flights; failing to report in-flight sexual assaults to the proper authorities, or indeed to any authorities; and failing to cooperate with authorities in the reporting and investigation process into in-flight sexual assaults.

Lieff Cabraser is investigating multiple allegations of passenger-to-passenger sexual assault on all commercial airlines, not just Frontier. Most disturbingly, many of the incidents include claims that when the incidents are reported to the airlines, airline employees and airline corporate officers do nothing to help, and even work to bury or otherwise suppress reports of the incidents, leaving the victims with little or no recourse.
