Lieff Cabraser Congratulates Steven Fineman on his Election as President of the Public Justice Foundation

Lieff Cabraser Heimann & Bernstein, LLP, congratulates Managing Partner Steven E. Fineman for his election yesterday as President of the Public Justice Foundation for 2011-2012. 

The Public Justice Foundation is a not-for-profit membership organization that supports Public Justice, P.C., a national public interest law firm dedicated to fighting for justice through precedent-setting and socially significant litigation. Many of the nation's most distinguished and accomplished attorneys serve on the Public Justice Foundation's Board of Directors. A strong supporter of Public Justice for over 15 years, Mr. Fineman has served on the Foundation's Board of Directors since 2002, and on its Executive Committee for the past five years.

During nearly 20 years with Lieff Cabraser, Mr. Fineman has distinguished himself not only as a nationally-recognized litigator, but also as a respected author, educator, and leader in the legal community. Based in the firm's New York office, Mr. Fineman focuses on representing institutional and individual investors in securities and financial fraud litigation, and on mass tort, consumer fraud, and human rights litigation. He also writes and speaks frequently on federal court practice and complex litigation. 

As the managing partner of Lieff Cabraser, Lawdragon magazine named Mr. Fineman as one of the "100 Managing Partners You Need to Know" in 2008. During Mr. Fineman's tenure as the firm's Managing Partner, The National Law Journal has selected Lieff Cabraser each year to its Plaintiffs' Hot List, a list of the nation's top plaintiffs' law firms. Lieff Cabraser is one of only two law firms in the nation to receive this honor for the past nine consecutive years.
