AT&T Wireless Service Plan Billing
Practices Investigation
At the request of a subscriber, the national law firm of Lieff Cabraser Heimann & Bernstein, LLP, is investigating claims that AT&T Wireless has improperly charged customers for services that were not authorized, including so-called "access" fees and fees for additional telephones on their service plans. One cellular subscriber of the AT&T Wireless Share Plan 2 was billed for each of his cellular telephones even though the plan provided that there was to be an additional charge for only the second, or extra, telephone.
