Recently, Lieff Cabraser alumnae and UC Hastings School of Law professors Chimène Keitner and Morris Ratner were profiled in the Fall 2014 issue of UC Hastings Magazine. The magazine noted that Professor Keitner has published over a dozen articles and book chapters on immunity and transnational litigation, and that her work on “The Forgotten History of Foreign Official Immunity” was recognized as one of the top three papers in the 2012 AALS Scholarly Paper Competition.

The magazine further noted that Professor Ratner was a leading member of a legal team that secured more than $7.5 billion worth of settlements on behalf of victims of Nazi persecution and their heirs. (You can watch a video of one of Mr. Ratner’s lectures entitled, “Litigating the Holocaust.”
