Mark Chalos Discusses Attorney Professional Responsibility

Lieff Cabraser attorney Mark P. Chalos will be speaking at the 2015 American Bar Association Section Annual Conference on April 17, 2015 in New Orleans, Louisiana. He will be discussing the topic "When Good Lawyers Go Bad: The Consequences of Lawyer Misconduct and Rambo Tactics During Depositions and at Trial."

The ABA Section Annual Conference features over 30 CLE programs, 100 nationally-known speakers, and 7 networking events. The conference is sponsored by the ABA Section of Litigation. Bringing together judges and attorneys from all areas of litigation nationwide, the conference provides discussion on the development in trial advocacy and serves as an important networking opportunity for litigators.

Chalos is the managing partner of Lieff Cabraser’s Nashville office, representing individuals who have suffered catastrophic personal injuries and families whose loved ones died due to the negligence or misconduct of others. He has obtained millions of dollars in settlements for families who have been harmed by wrongful conduct.

Through jury trials, Chalos has held wrongdoers accountable, including representing 32 school children who were videotaped undressing in their school locker room ($1.28 million jury verdict), a young woman who suffered a severe brain injury in a car wreck (nearly $4 million jury verdict), and an $8 million arbitration award on behalf of a business client.
