Last week, Lieff Cabraser proudly showed their support for the Family Violence Appellate Project (FVAP), a nonprofit organization that represents domestic violence survivors and their families before the California Courts of Appeals.
For the second consecutive year, Lieff Cabraser participated in FVAP’s Banding Together to End Domestic Violence event, competing against other law firms and corporate legal departments for the goal of raising funds for FVAP.
Lieff Cabraser’s band, the R-23s, played songs by The Clash, Otis Redding, Cream, and Chuck Berry. The R-23s feature Elizabeth Cabraser on drums, Phong Nguyen on guitar, Elizabeth Schneider on guitar and keyboards, Djuna Gray on bass, Melissa Gardner on vocals and flute, Anthony McDaniel on vocals, and Connie Jorgenson on vocals.
This battle of the bands fundraiser occurs annually and is held in both San Francisco and Los Angeles to support FVAP’s mission to keep domestic violence survivors safe and create legal precedents in favor of survivors throughout the state.
