Lieff Cabraser attorney Nicholas Diamand will be participating at the 2015 International Corporate Governance Network (ICGN) Annual Conference hosted by the City of London, at Guildhall from June 3-5, 2015. Diamand will chair a panel on “Legal Redress as a Corporate Governance Element of Shareholder Engagement: An International Perspective.” Institutional investors from the United Kingdom, Europe, and Australia will discuss the regional approaches to investor protection litigation and recovery.
This year’s ICGN Conference will feature 80 speakers and more than 650 delegates will join the discussion at this special 20th anniversary meeting, which will focus on “lessons learned, unfinished business, and priorities for reform.”
Diamand is a partner in Lieff Cabraser’s New York office with a practice focused on securities and consumer fraud cases. For example, he is actively involved in the firm’s representation of the California Board of Regents in securities fraud litigation against AIG. His present and past case work concerning consumer fraud includes digital privacy litigation against Facebook and LinkedIn, among others.
