On Friday May 19th, five Lieff Cabraser paralegals donated their time and efforts to voluteer at the SF-Marin Food Bank as part of Lieff Cabraser’s 2017 commitment to Food From The Bar. Corrie Anderson, Ali Brilliant, Diamond Lewis, Rami Bata, and Eileen Beltran (in photo, above) all worked to sort and package food for soup kitchens and neighborhood pantries served by the Food Bank, and had a great time doing it.
Food From The Bar is an annual fundraiser benefitting the SF-Marin Food Bank. The legal community competes by raising funds, collecting food, and donating volunteer time to help eliminate hunger in our community. Over the years Food From The Bar has provided enough food for 18,963,355 meals. Now in 2017, their goal is to provide at least 2,000,000 more.

About Food From The Bar
For the past 20+ years, the Bar Association of San Francisco, in partnership with the SF legal community, have joined forces to raise money to combat hunger in San Francisco and Marin counties. SF-Marin Food Bank and Food From The Bar’s work is especially critical during the summer months when many children will likely go without nutritious meals after the regular school year has ended.
Law firms participating in the drive are recognized at the Food From The Bar closing ceremony and are get awards for the most food or cash collected and volunteer hours donated. But the real winners are the needy children and families who will benefit from the firms’ collective efforts.
