Lieff Cabraser attorney Kartik S. Madiraju will be participating in a panel discussion at NYU Law School focusing on career paths in public interest law. The event will take place this Thursday, October 24th from 5-6pm.
Attorneys practicing in the areas of workers’ rights, civil rights, and other areas at public interest firms in New York City and Washington, D.C. will offer insights on what it’s like to work in the law with a focus on public interest, and will provide information on how public interest firms differ from other firms and from non-profit organizations.
About Kartik S. Madiraju
Kartik Madiraju is an associate in Lieff Cabraser’s New York office. Prior to joining Lieff Cabraser, Kartik was an associate at Foley & Lardner, LLP from 2017 to 2019, where he also spent the summer of 2016 as a summer associate. Prior to that, he was a Henry L. Diamond B&D Clerk at the Environmental Law Institute. Kartik also spent a year as a fellow at Insight Collaborative and Insight Partners, learning and teaching negotiation to various environmental non-profits around the world.
Kartik graduated from New York University School of Law, where he was a Root-Tilden-Kern Scholar and competed nationally in Moot Court. Kartik also holds a B.Eng. in Chemical Engineering and an M.Sc. in Bioresource Engineering from McGill University, in Montreal, Canada.
