Laura B. Heiman is an associate in the Nashville office of Lieff Cabraser who represents class action and whistleblower plaintiffs as part of the firm’s defective products, fraud against the government (qui tam), and consumer protection practice.
Prior to joining Lieff Cabraser, Laura served as a law clerk to the Honorable Ketanji Brown Jackson of the United States District Court for the District of Columbia and the Honorable Jane B. Stranch of the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit. Laura’s prior practice includes working as a litigation associate at Morrison and Foerster, LLP, where she focused on representing pro bono clients with civil rights and constitutional claims before the federal courts of appeals and the United States Supreme Court.
Laura is a 2011 graduate of Stanford Law School, where she served on the board of the Women of Stanford Law and represented clients in the Community Law Clinic. Before law school, Laura was a Dorot Fellow at the Alliance for Justice in Washington, D.C. She graduated cum laude from Yale University in 2007.
