Columbia Law School has announced that Sarah Knuckey, the Lieff Cabraser Heimann & Bernstein Clinical Associate Professor of Human Rights, has received a 2017 Presidential Award for Outstanding Teaching by Faculty. The award is presented annually at the Law School’s Commencement ceremony and honors a small number of instructors nominated by the Columbia community who display a commitment to excellent and innovative teaching. International Human Rights Lawyer to Serve as Lieff Cabraser Professor at Columbia Law School

Columbia Law School announced this week that Sarah Knuckey, an international human rights lawyer, professor, and special advisor to the U.N. special rapporteur on extrajudicial executions, will join the Columbia Law School faculty July 1, 2014. Knuckey will serve as the Lieff Cabraser Associate Clinical Professor of Law, director of the Human Rights Clinic, and faculty co-director of the Human Rights Institute.
