A federal judge in Hawaii has blocked the White House from implementing its latest version of a travel ban, which was set to go into full effect on October 18th. This newest iteration of the ban, issued on September 24th, aimed to indefinitely bar travelers from Syria, Libya, Iran, Yemen, Chad, Somalia, North Korea and Venezuela from entering the United States. Ninth Circuit Appeals Court Refuses to Undo Injunction Against Trump's Revised Ban on Travel

The Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals has preserved the preliminary injunction issued March 15, 2017 against President Trump’s revised travel ban on nationals from six targeted Muslim-majority countries, indicating that the blocked order provides insufficient justification for the suspension of travel into the U.S. for visitors from Iran, Libya, Somalia, Sudan, Syria, and Yemen.
