Brendan is a partner in our San Francisco office with a practice dedicated to resolving antitrust, securities and other civil litigation matters. He brings expertise in the telecommunications, computer, and high-tech industries to the firm.
Currently, Brendan is a member of the Lieff Cabraser team serving as Co-Lead Counsel for a class of direct purchasers of flat-panel TV screens and other products incorporating liquid crystal displays in a case against the world’s leading manufacturers for conspiring to inflate the prices of those products. He recently served as trial counsel for a class of direct purchasers of HIV medication in the In re Norvir Antitrust Litigation.
Before joining Lieff Cabraser, Brendan served as a Deputy Public Defender in Contra Costa County, California, defending clients in over twenty felony and misdemeanor jury trials. Brendan previously worked at Boies, Schiller & Flexner, where he represented both plaintiffs and defendants in a variety of antitrust and securities matters. He represented a major satellite television provider in litigation challenging a competitor's exclusive-dealing arrangements with retailers, served as counsel for a Baby Bell defending antitrust lawsuits brought by its competitors, and represented a local medical group in a Federal Trade Commission enforcement action.
