On Tuesday, November 3rd, 2026, Lieff Cabraser partner David Rudolph and Rebecca Girolamo of O’Melveny will be presenting “The Outside Counsel Perspective” at 11:30 a.m. as part of the Practising Law Institute’s half-day program on California Privacy Law 2026 held online and in San Francisco.
The California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) is currently the most comprehensive privacy law in the country, with changes that took effect January 1, 2020. These changes have clearly affected companies’ legal obligations. This targeted, half-day program is a must-attend for any lawyer who works for a company that does business in California.
“The Outside Counsel Perspective” will cover the key litigation risks companies face, a view from the plaintiff perspective (what companies are likely targets?), and what steps companies should take to minimize risk.
This half-day program provides up to 3.5 credits, and should be attended by all attorneys, especially compliance attorneys and professionals who advise companies and litigators who represent companies that have consumer information. More info is available on the PLI website.
