Lawdragon legal magazine has published its annual listing of the 500 “Leading Lawyers in America,” a list that includes Lieff Cabraser partners Elizabeth J. Cabraser, Kelly M. Dermody, Eric B. Fastiff, Steven E. Fineman, Wendy R. Fleishman, Annika K. Martin, and Robert J. Nelson. Lawdragon also selected Lieff Cabraser partner Richard Heimann to be inducted into its 2020 Lawdragon 500 Hall of Fame.
Selected from a combination of editorial research by Lawdragon staff, law firm submissions, and other online nominations, the Lawdragon 500 Leading Lawyers list is a mark of distinction in the legal profession across a wide range of practice areas. The 2020 list, Lawdragon’s 15th such edition, reflects a record-breaking, 40 percent representation of women and 20 percent minority lawyers.
Pointedly, Lawdragon notes, “We have never published a Lawdragon 500 guide at a moment of greater uncertainty. Courts are closed, the engine of commerce is hanging on a frazzling thread, and lives are in the balance throughout the world…Every prior year as we published this guide, the result of tremendous research and deliberation, it was a cause for celebration.
