Lieff Cabraser partner Kenny Byrd re-elected to TTLA Board of Governors

Nashville, TN—(BUSINESSWIRE)–We are proud to announce that Lieff Cabraser partner Mark P. Chalos, Managing Partner of the firm’s Nashville office, has been elected President of the Tennessee Trial Lawyers’ Association (TTLA) after having previously served as Vice-President of the organization. Mark will serve as President-Elect for 2021-2022 and as President for 2022-2023. At the same time, Lieff Cabraser partner Kenny Byrd was re-elected to the TTLA Board of Governors.

The Tennessee Trial Lawyers Association is a professional organization of member attorneys dedicated to upholding and defending the principles of the Constitution of the United States and the Constitution of the State of Tennessee by way of trial by jury; advancing the science of the legal system; supporting advocacy and justice of the public good; and advancing the cause of those who experience personal harm or property damage. About Kenny Byrd

A partner in our Nashville office, Kenny Byrd represents clients in mass tort cases, defective product cases and consumer fraud litigation. He is a leader in groundbreaking national litigation filed on behalf of Tennessee governments and taxpayers, among many others, against opioid manufacturers and distributors in the wake of the ongoing national opioids crisis. Kenny also serves on the Early Vetting Committee in the nationwide product defect lawsuit against 3M relating to allegations that for over a decade, 3M provided defective earplugs to men and women in the U.S. military.
