Only one lawyer receives “Lawyer of the Year” recognition for each specialty and location
Best Lawyers has published its lawyer and law firm ratings for 2022, and we are proud to highlight Lieff Cabraser Donald C. Arbitblit’s selection as “Lawyer of the Year” for Mass Tort & Class Action Litigation for Northern California.
The oldest peer-review publication in the legal profession, Best Lawyers strives to “capture the consensus opinion of leading lawyers” with its annual listing of the most highly regarded practitioners in the law. Further recognition is also awarded to “Lawyers of the Year,” individual lawyers with the highest overall peer-feedback for a specific practice area and geographic region; only one lawyer is recognized as the Lawyer of the Year for a given specialty and location.
Best Lawyers’ choice of Don as its Mass Tort & Class Action Law – Lawyer of the Year for Northern California reflects his unrelenting work on behalf of clients in cases like the Actos bladder cancer injuries federal multidistrict litigation that settled in 2015 for $2.4 billion, as well as Yaz, Fen-Phen Diet Drug, Vioxx, and Sulzer hip implant cases.
Don also currently serves as a leader of the Plaintiffs’ Expert Witness Committee in the National Prescription Opiates litigation, where he works with experts in the fields of addiction medicine, psychiatry, pain management and epidemiology.
Congratulations to Don on this prestigious recognition!
