AMC Privacy Violations
Alarming reports indicate that media production and distribution company and online video provider AMC is secretly and illegally embedding computer code in its website to send AMC users’ personal information and video watching history on to Meta without their consent. Lieff Cabraser’s Privacy and Cybersecurity practice group has filed a class action lawsuit against AMC for engaging in this illegal conduct.
AMC is a media production and distribution company that owns AMC+, which provides certain on-demand channels and prerecorded videos to consumers.
