Starbucks Non-Dairy Substitute Overcharging Complaints
Sign me up for more info about the Starbucks upcharge case.
Lieff Cabraser is investigating complaints that Starbucks is improperly charging customers who order non-dairy substitutes for their beverages, despite having last year adopted a company-wide policy to not charge for this for certain drinks (Hot or Iced Brewed Coffee or Tea, Cold Brew and Americano beverages). Customers complain that they are not being provided the promised free milk substitutes, and instead are being forced to pay the old substitution charge even though such substitutions should now be free.
