Capital One Shopping Affiliate Links Commission Theft Allegations
Lieff Cabraser’s Consumer Fraud group is investigating reports that Capital One is stealing commissions from content creators who promote the Capital One Shopping web browser shopping extension service.
According to reports, Capital One engages in an unfair practice where it overrides affiliate links from content creators, replacing those links with Capital One’s own links, diverting commissions to Capital One that should go to the content creators instead.
At this time, we are not seeking to speak with Capital One extension users. The potential legal claims at issue relate only to content creators working with Capital One.
