Kalshi “Khamenei Out” Investigation
Premier Plaintiff law firm Lieff Cabraser is investigating Kalshi for unfair and improper practices connected to its “Ali Khamenei out as Supreme Leader” markets, where consumers wagered more than $50 million on whether Khamenei would be out by certain dates, including March 1, 2026. Despite widespread reports of his death on February 28, 2026, Kalshi continued to display and promote these markets on its website, social media, ads and app, then allegedly failed to provide the payouts many users reasonably expected.
We are investigating whether Kalshi’s marketing, contract terms, and settlement practices — including how and when it applied any “carve outs” or special rules — were deceptive, unfair, or in breach of its obligations to users.
