The class action lawsuit complaint charged that the notebooks suffered premature failure of their cooling systems, power supply systems, and/or motherboards. In December 2010, the Court approved a settlement which provided class members that paid Dell for certain repairs to their Inspiron notebook computer a reimbursement of all or a portion of the cost of the repairs.
