Medical experts and federal health officials are warning the public of significant potential dangers of vaping and recommending the immediate stopping of e-cigarette use as the number of people with severe vaping-related lung illnesses has risen to 450 possible cases spanning 33 states, with four confirmed deaths.

CBS News reports that within the last month at least a dozen young people in Wisconsin ranging from teens to those in their mid-thirties have been hospitalized requiring treatment for severe lung damage, and that the number is steadily rising. All the affected patients appear to have been harmed by using Juul vaped tobacco products.
