Lieff Cabraser is acting in a leadership role in multidistrict litigation over widespread reports of minor children being sexually exploited and, in some cases, sexually assaulted by child predators who allegedly targeted and groomed the children via the popular Roblox gaming platform.
Did an adult contact your child through Roblox?
Some parents have reported that their children were contacted by adults through Roblox who:
- Sent inappropriate or sexual messages
- Asked the child to move the conversation to Discord, Snapchat, or another platform
- Requested photos or videos
- Attempted to build a private relationship with the child
If your child experienced interactions like these with an adult they met through Roblox, our attorneys would welcome the opportunity to speak with you confidentially.

About the Roblox Lawsuits
As noted above, our firm serves in a leadership role in the Roblox child harm litigation. According to reports, the predators establish a connection with the minors on Roblox, then persuad the children to continue their interactions, to exchange sexually explicit images, often on a second platform such as Discord, Snapchat, or Instagram, or via texting or video-calling on a cellular phone, or even by in-person meetups.
The allegations against Roblox include fraudulent and negligent misrepresentation, negligence, failure to warn, and design defect. In December 2025, lawsuits targeting Roblox for these and other offenses were consolidated into multidistrict litigation under the Hon. Richard Seeborg, Chief U.S. District Judge for the Northern District of California. Judge Seeborg appointed Lieff Cabraser partner Kelly McNabb to serve on the Plaintiffs’ Executive Committee in the litigation.
