GM Engine Failures Investigation
This past week GM recalled the following vehicles equipped with 6.2-liter V-8 engines: 2021 – 2024 Cadillac Escalade and Escalade ESV; Chevy Silverado 1500, Suburban, and Tahoe; and GMC Sierra 1500s, Yukon, and Yukon XL. You can read about the recall here:
Under the recall, all vehicles will have to transition from using lower-viscosity motor oil (0W-20) to a higher-viscosity oil (0W-40) to provide more “protection” for the engine. The problem is that thicker motor oil can significantly impact engine performance and increase operating costs. We are bringing a class action to make sure that owners are fairly compensated.
If you still own one of the recalled vehicles and have interest in learning more about participating in our lawsuit as a named plaintiff, please send us a quick message using the form above.
