Ford Transmission Failures

Note: We are no longer investigating reports of faulty transmissions in certain Ford Vehicles, including 2011-2020 Ford F150s.

The alleged transmission defect purportedly caused vehicles to suddenly and unexpectedly downshift. Vehicles might also experience rear wheel lock-up or skidding, leading a driver to lose control.

On March 14, 2024, U.S. District Judge William Orrick of the Northern District of California issued an order granting final approval to a comprehensive $235 million settlement with Altria in the nationwide JUUL e-cigarette youth vaping predatory
